About the fellowship

Danny Davis Boys Lead Fellowship (DDBLF) is an empowering initiative by Boys Lead Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. This inaugural fellowship, taking place from July 12-14th, 2024, at Malcolm X College in Chicago, Illinois, is a legacy project launched by Congressman Danny K. Davis.

DDBLF welcomes participants aged 10 to 40 who are passionate about leadership and community impact. Our goal is to empower and elevate the youth, aligning with Congressman Danny Davis’s commitment to youth empowerment and his role on the Congressional Caucus on Black Men and Boys.

Expecting 300 fellows, DDBLF provides intensive leadership development, covering various aspects such as business, civic engagement, and public management. Beyond the classroom, fellows engage in community service and cultural experiences to foster cross-cultural understanding.

Join us in this dynamic fellowship as we shape a new generation of leaders, instilling values of responsibility and empowerment within youths aged 10 to 40.
